Terms of Service

Last updated: February 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FormDrop ("the Service"), operated at formdrop.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FormDrop provides form backend endpoints for static websites. The Service receives form submissions, stores them, and delivers email notifications to form owners. FormDrop is not responsible for the content of forms or submissions created by users.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Collect data in violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content
  • Collect sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, health information) without appropriate safeguards
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or spam protections
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans & Billing

FormDrop offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Plan limits (number of forms, monthly submissions) are enforced as described on our Pricing page.

  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If you exceed your plan limits, new submissions will be rejected until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data submitted through your forms. FormDrop does not claim any rights to your form submission data. We act solely as a processor on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of FormDrop complies with any privacy laws applicable to the data you collect (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). If your forms collect personal data from end users, you should provide your own privacy policy to those users.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your forms, submissions, and associated data will be permanently removed.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
